      The Department of Energy (Formerly the Atomic Energy Commission) conducted over 1000 nuclear test throughout the world mostly at the Nevada Test Site about 70 miles from Las Vegas Nevada. This area is contaminated with the most leathal and deadly nuclear waste in the world which poses a serious danger to the public. We have all heard about the after effects of the 2 Nuclear bombs exploded in Japan in WWII. Imagine the after effects of more than 1,000 nuclear bombs in a small area at the Nevada Test Site. She interviewed the men and women who served at AREA 51 as sources for the book.
